My Story
Hello and welcome!
I'm Sara - a certified Mindfulness Coach with an MSc in Organizational Psychology and a PGDip in Psychology. I have spent most of my life in the Los Angeles area, but am now based in London, UK. I was born in a small town in Iowa where spirituality and mindfulness is abundant, which shaped how I navigate this world. It's a place where meditation is a normal part of the day, intuitive children are nourished, and creativity is encouraged. There were of course downsides to the town and living there, just as it is anywhere, but it provided a great childhood where my strong intuitive abilities were cultivated. I lived there until I was 7 when my parents and I moved to Southern California and I began to reject my spiritual roots in order to fit in and be "normal."

Throughout my teen years and into my young adult life I struggled with anxiety and depression. I fought through a lot of it by holding strong to my passion for storytelling, and eventually working in the film industry for over a decade. I was the assistant to a director, a producer, a talent manager, and a few actors as well as coordinated a makeup department, produced my own projects, and served as an associate producer at a production company. These experiences took me all over the world, both on and off set, and I loved what I was doing, but I still went through intense times of deep depression and anxiety. The chronic stress and anxiety, mixed with the repression of my spiritually-based roots, ultimately resulted in a panic attack so bad that it not only shut down my mental and emotional wellbeing, but my physical body as well. I knew my only way forward was to go deep into myself and reconnect to my true nature. This led to a lot of self exploration and study of many different factors contributing to mental health issues.
Through my own therapy, mindfulness training, study with spiritual mentors, and formal education, I found that I have learned so much that could be helpful to others. People naturally started gravitating to me for guidance in difficult situations and advice on how to reframe the thinking of mental health. I also started teaching a course on mindfulness to the elderly, including those with Alzheimers and Dementia, and gave their loved ones tools to interact and communicate more effectively with them.

As an intuitive empath, I realized that my natural state of being, combined with my own personal struggles and experiences, allows me to deeply understand others and receive intuition as to how to help them heal and achieve growth in their lives. More specifically, the passion for filmmaking manifested in a new way - advancing the art of storytelling through the care and support of each individual person contributing to a higher vision and the championship of the teamwork required to make that vision come to life.
